mercury dome light wiring

 {censored} light in my mercury sable fell out. it has 3 wires. does anyone know the right way to hook up the wires??? in the dark.:-(­

 one is a ground the other is hot with the door open and the other should be hot from the light switch you {censored} any 12v light bulb and 2 wires to tell or you can buy a tester for about 3 bucks.... a Haynes book for autozone will also give you all the wiring diagrams but unless you plan on working on more buy a test light.....
